In your "thumbnails" section of your web page, you wrote:
"As scientists in the last 50 years examined the fine balance in the universe, they were shocked to discover that the universe has somehow been 'fine tuned' to produce humanity. The slightest variances in the initial conditions of the birth of the universe would have precluded humanity's existence. This seems like an important clue that God has a special purpose for humanity, and perhaps even that He 'cares' for us and our well-being."
This is not an harassment email. I really would like to know what your source(s) are for the above statement. I do science for a living and I read the scientific literature all the time. I'd like to know what you're citing because I can not think of anything in the scientific literature or in the popular "pseudoscience" literature which fits the description of what you wrote. Now, the literature of science is vast, and it's well within the limits of probability that I've never seen something because it's outside of what I normally read. Modern science is regretfully compartmentalized, and gets more so every day. I know you're a busy person, so I won't expire from expectation if you take your time answering my email.
Thanks in advance!

This concept of fine-tuning is known as the Anthropic Principle. Here are a couple of things to check out, on the Anthropic Principle [Note-- these will be QUICKLY outdated, by newer books with additional details and observations!]:
1. Cosmic Coincidences by John Gribbin and Martin Rees (NY:Bantam, 1989)
2. Ahe most thorough early discussion is Universes by John Leslie (London:Routledge, 1989)
3. The Anthropic Cosmological Principle, by John D. Barrow and Frank J. Tipler, Oxford: Clarendon Press, 1986.
4. Arthur Peacock, Creation and the World of Science (Oxford:Clarendon, 1979)
5. John Polkinghorne, Science and Providence (Boston: Shambhala, 1989)
6. Hugh Ross, The Creator and the Cosmos (Colorado Springs: NavPress, 1993), pp105-135.
7. Evidence of Purpose: Scientists Discover their Creator (John Marks Templeton, ed.), NY: Continuum, 1994. (excellent series of writings by noted scientists... Many of these articles touch on/adduce the Anthropic Principle...
8. For a 'fun' example of this, trying reading Genesis and the Big Bang (by Gerald Schroeder, applied physicist, Israeli, BANTAM:1990)...argues that the A.P. was anticipated by medieval Jewish exegetes! In the process, gives a very readable account of the A.P. (but doesn't mention the principle that I can remember)...
hope this helps...keep in touch and let me know how it goes...
warmly,
